In An Onwards Direction

I only have vague memories of walking this path as a kid, maybe once my Grandparents took us this way to the Duthie Park, maybe once I wandered along it as a teenager exploring the city. It’s been greatly improved since then – resurfacing, signage & this bridge built in 2005 – and I fully plan to walk as much of it as I can this coming Summer, fingers crossed for weather & stamina!

The Old Deeside Line ran from Aberdeen to Banchory and is now an almost continual path covering the same route.
