Doonie’s Farm

Sometimes I wonder if the ground is just here to be passing foreground interest for my love of the sky.

Joy of Flight

Others swoop and soar, I’m happy to just sit quiet watching for the good photo opportunities.

Cove Cows

Cows are strange creatures, I always get the impression they have a strong dislike of humans (probably quite rightly so). Oh and also, I’ve never known them to make any noise as pleasant as “moo” …

Across Cove Bay Harbour

Sometimes, even in the North East of Scotland, the weather makes it really special to live near the sea.

Thousand Word Essays

They say a picture is worth a thousand words, if so then these are my thousand word essays.

There is no timetable for updates to this photo blog. I’ll add a photo when I think I have pictures worth sharing or when I feel I can tell an interesting anecdote or thought. This means sometimes weeks can pass with nothing new, for that I apologise to those eager for more.

For those happy souls content with less I’ll make sure to not flood your inbox or feed reader and limit updates to one per day — even if I have a whole heap of new photos that I’m excited about!
