Park Circus, Glasgow

Tenement buildings in Glasgow’s Park Circus which once housed the Maclay students halls of residence next to Glasgow’s Kelvingrove Park are saved by the fire service after an accident during renovation work saw a building catch fire.

By lunchtime all that is left is a burnt out shell, lots of smoke and tired fire crew.

It’s often considered a dull topic of conversation to talk about the weather but when mother nature lets her hair down the results can be awe inspiring. Capturing such ephemeral things oncamera can often produce some of the most awe inspiring images and photographs.
