The titles I give to photos rarely, in my opinion, add anything to the image but this one is slightly different. Yggdrasil is the World Tree of Norse Mythology. The Tree of Life with branches that span the skies, supported on three roots one of which shelters the meeting place of the gods, another is gnawed upon by a dragon on the Shore of Corpses.
Many contemporary images of Yggdrasil show the huge scale of a tree encompassing the entire world but this is my view. It’s important not to overlook the details even when the whole is so imposing.
Yggdrasill The World Tree of Norse Mythology is an Ash whose branches reach to the heavens, covering the whole sky.
