Tower Block Triptych

Taking a suggestion from Laura on a previous tower block photo I ended up with this triptych. I wanted to keep all the adjustments within Lightroom so I struggled with the bright version — some halo edges I dislike and turning clouds into a bright sky is more a task for Photoshop. Overall the most interesting part for myself came when I lined up all three and optical illusion stuff made the outer two appear to lean away from the middle!

Woodside Tower Blocks

Another “Grey Outdoors” picture, another pair of tower blocks I haven’t been kind or flattering to!

Gritty City

Trying to make the normally mundane a little bit more interesting I often use sharpened grain images for buildings but I rarely, if ever, use tobacco colour gradient filters. Although the colour here is more sepia than traditional tobacco I like it, expect more.

Blog Info

The SpoiltCat.com Blog only has one rule, “Never apologise for lack of updates.”

If there’s something interesting to share then we’ll try to find the time to share it, if not we’ll try to find something interesting. Updates will be irregular, we’ll neglect you and you may wonder if there will ever be another article.

Don’t worry though, we’ll write again soon—where “soon” is an undefined quantity …
