Architects probably spend ages deciding on the lines to use in their buildings, then along come snapshot photographers and turn their square corners into slightly squiffy quadrilaterals.

Two hours after opening and, in some places at least, the crush has eased at the new Union Square shopping centre in Aberdeen.
